Next up was washing hands and getting dressed. But not with out a few jumps on the bed!
He finally let me put clothes on him and we went outside to check on the chickies. It was the perfect weather. Too bad I knew it wouldn't last.
Caught him sneaking on to Daddy's tractor.
We have recently made the switch to cloth diapers. And aren't turning back. I set them out on the deck to dry. About 5 minutes after these photos a gust of wind knocked the whole thing over :/
Anyone else gettin real tired of these things...
Oh well. Time for me to get ready now. I've challenged myself to get in more photos. I pretty much hate being in front of the camera, especially for self portraits. But I also think that they are important. (Side note: I'm not talking about cell phone selfies) So here is me being brave...no makeup. I'm in the process of putting it on though.
And while I do that, Max finds something to get into.
This is multitasking at it finest. Max plays quietly, until he disappears to turn music on.
Dance party to ABC rock.
Complete with a big finish!
A quick photo with my boy and then it's back outside to play.
Our little tree is blooming!
Lunch time. A sandwich and strawberries for Max and a smoothie for me. After we eat it's time for a little quiet time.
Daddy's home! We cook dinner while little man relaxes and watches some LeapFrog.
Then it's bath time and bed time.
Jesse and I watch an episode of Breaking Bad and then head to bed too. And that's it. A pretty typical day for us. I think I am going to try and do posts like this every so often. I do think it's important to document the big events. But lately I think it's even more important to document the little moments that happen everyday.
